Inspired by the optical illusion in which refracted light creates a deceptive image of distant objects, this piece plays with perception and visual depth. The door fronts feature Alpi Veneer constructed in a 4-sided pyramid, which catches the light when viewed from different angles. The carcass and legs are made from solid black stained ash.
